The POLLUX NEXT GENERATION CORNELS® Elite series terrace canopy was installed in this prestigious project. Each project is individually customised to the client’s requirements. The residents of this modern, sustainable villa had the desire to replace the traditional awning for a solution that also repels the low-lying sun. Also, opting for the aluminium terrace canopy with retractable louvres makes for extra comfort and luxury. This makes it possible to leave the luxurious garden furniture with cushions outside. This way, residents enjoy outdoor life even more. Step outside and the enjoyment begins immediately.

Individually operated louvred roofs

This spacious canopy is 13 metres long and consists of three connected louvred roofs. These louvres can be operated separately, allowing occupants to adjust the amount of sunlight and shade as desired. The louvred roofs have integrated led lighting in the outline. This provides an atmospheric ambience in the evening hours.

Screens block out the sun and offer privacy

Screens are installed at the front to block out the low sun, which can also be operated individually for optimal comfort. Another advantage of these screens is shelter and privacy. When it is windy, a screen also offers protection. Another advantage of the GEMMA CORNELS® screen is the fabric that offers privacy from the outside. Insight is prevented. On the other hand, the view of the spacious green garden from the terrace is maintained. So you can enjoy the garden to the full.

Creating experience terraces

Three unique experience terraces were created under the impressive terrace canopy, each with its own theme and function:

Atmospheric seating with luxury furniture

The leftmost terrace under the terrace canopy is an intimate and cosy corner where one can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or a good glass of wine in the evening, have a chat with friends or simply enjoy the garden.

Sun terrace

The middle terrace section is the sun terrace. With comfortable sun beds for ultimate relaxation. A serene place to sunbathe after a refreshing dip in the pool. The roof slides fully open at the touch of a remote control or in the app with a click to let in plenty of sunshine. It is also a nice place to read a book or relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of the green surroundings.

Dining with family and friends

The rightmost terrace features a long dining table suitable for cosy dinners and gatherings. An inviting space perfect for hosting guests and enjoying culinary delights outdoors. On this part of the garden terrace, the evening sun shines the longest and, with the setting sun, it is a lovely setting for long after-dinner dining. Moreover, the led framing provides beautiful warm-coloured lighting for magical atmospheres on the terrace.
